Nandan Gautam is the CEO of Bharat Thakur’s Artistic Yoga, a revolutionary form of yoga that combines the core principles of modern sports medicine and ancient yogic techniques to achieve greater impact and results.
Nandan’s journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the prestigious McDaniel College, Maryland, USA. He then began a career at the renowned USA Today newspaper, exploring the world of information and communications. But fate had deeper plans for him and he returned to his homeland, India, to study yoga and meditation with spiritual teacher Dr. Bharat Thakur, who founded Artistic Yoga in 1999.
Bharat Thakur’s Artistic Yoga is currently practiced by students from all over the world through online classes as well as using their popular and user-friendly app. It has transformed the lives of people from all walks of life - from famous actors (Priyanka Chopra) and musicians (Anoushka Shankar) to businessmen (Ratan Tata) and athletes (Boris Becker), as well as professionals and students who have experienced enormous benefits to their physical and mental health.
Nandan Gautam is also a writer and musician. The yogi has published two books, The Lie and the Truth and King of the Sea, and released two albums, King of the Sea and Divine Flaw, featuring musicians such as Grammy Award-winning drummer and composer Antonio Sanchez, legendary pianist Rainer Brueninghaus, keyboardist Tom Schumann, and drummer Chad Wackerman.
